Mentors
A successful outcome to the programme, when integrating Surrogate Partner Therapy, is the result of teamwork involving the client, surrogate partner and 'mentor'; a man or woman who has completed the surrogate partner training and also received additional mentor training to perform the vital role of catalyst in the healing process.
The Mentor Training Course
This course embraces all of the modules of the Surrogate Partner's Course and an additional three modules developing further the skills required to fill the vital role of catalyst in the healing process working with both client and surrogate partner. Qualification as an ICASA Accredited Mentor will provide the opportunity (as for surrogate partners) to work independently of the main School with clients and surrogate partners on a regional basis.
